Microwave drying characteristics and kinetic model of Millettia speciosa Champ.

  • 【Objective】 To explore the characteristics of Millettia speciosa Champ. microwave drying and its kinetic model, and provide a reference for perfecting M. speciosa Champ. microwave drying processing technology.【Method】 Determined the drying curve and drying rate curve under different powers and different slice thicknesses of M. speciosa Champ., the five most common used(Newton,Lagarithmic,Henderson and Pabis,Wang and Singh and Page models)in thin-layer drying models were used to linearly fit the drying model of M. speciosa Champ.【Result】 M. speciosa Champ. microwave drying curve showed two stages of acceleration and deceleration. Under the same power, the smaller the thickness of M. speciosa Champ. slices, the faster the drying rate;under the same slice thickness, the higher the M. speciosa Champ. microwave drying power, the higher the drying rate fast. Under the same slice thickness and different microwave power conditions, and under the same power and different slice thickness conditions, the moisture ratio(MR)of the M. speciosa Champ. drying process had a non-linear relationship with the drying time t, indicating that the model Wang and Singh was not suitable for describing the microwave drying characteristics of M. speciosa Champ. -lnMR had a non-linear relationship with the drying time t, indicating that the Newton, Lagarithmic and Henderson and Pabis models were not suitable for describing the microwave drying characteristics of M. speciosa Champ.;and ln(-lnMR)and the drying time lnt showed a linear relationship, indicating that the model Page could be used to describe and predict the microwave drying characteristics of M. speciosa Champ. The experimental data was fitted with SPSS 20.0, and the fitting equation ln (-lnMR)=-4.226-0.19H+0.001P+(1+0.027H+0P)lnt of the kinetic model of cattle vigorously microwave drying was found to reach extremely significant level(P<0.01), indicating that the Page model had a high degree of fit, the Page model suitable for establishing a kinetic model of microwave drying of M. speciosa Champ. After the accuracy test, the predicted value of the Page model and the experimental value had a high degree of fit, and the Pearson correlation coefficient 0.999.【Conclusion】 The Page model can better reflect and effectively predict the moisture change in the microwave drying process of M. speciosa Champ. It is suitable for establishing the microwave drying kinetic model of M. speciosa Champ. The fitting equation can accurately predict the moisture ratio of the M. speciosa Champ. at a certain moment in the microwave drying process.
