Abstract:
【Objective】 The spatial distribution pattern and sampling technique of
Procontarinia fructiculi Jiao, Wang, Bu & Kolesik larvae on mango trees were clarified to provide a scientific basis for drawing up forecast and targeted control measures for
P. fructiculi.【Method】 The random sampling methodwas used in investigations on the
P. fructiculi larvae in the mango orchard of Yongle Town, Baise City, Guangxi from 2018 to 2020. The spatial distribution pattern and sampling technique of the
P. fructiculi larvae on mango trees was investigated and determined by using clustering index, Iwao's regression equation and Taylor's power law, establish a Iwao theoretical sampling model, and the reasons for the aggregation was analyzed by the aggregation mean.【Result】
P. fructiculi larvaemainly distributed in the middle and lower layers of the mango tree canopy, there were no significant difference in quantity ratio of
P. fructiculi larvae among different directions of the canopy(
P>0.05); clustering index, Iwao's regression equation and Taylor's power law indicated that,
P. fructiculi larvae tended to be in aggregated distribution on mango trees, individuals attracted each other, the aggregation degree was proportional to population density. The optimum sampling model of
P. fructiculi larvaewas calculated according to the sampling formula,
N=3.8416/
D2(6.98972/
m+0.171). 【Conclusion】
P. fructiculi larvae mainly distribut in the middle and lower layers of the mango tree canopy,
P. fructiculi larvae are in aggregated distribution on mango trees.The reasons for aggregation are jointly caused by its spawning habits and the environment.
