Effects of different mowing times on yield and quality of sweet sorghum

  • 摘要: 目的探讨二次刈割时期对不同甜高粱品种产量和品质的影响,为江苏地区甜高粱种植二次刈割选择适宜品种与刈割期提供理论依据.方法以生育期偏早的中科甜3号、苏科甜1号和生育期偏迟的YT003和辽甜1号为试验材料,采用2因素裂区试验设计,以品种为主区,以收获刈割时期为副区,分别在生长第75(早)、90(中)、105(晚)d头茬刈割,第165 d第2次刈割;以一次收获作对照.收获时测定不同处理甜高粱的农艺性状、饲用产量与品质.结果生育期偏早的中科甜3号和苏科甜1号头茬采取早、中期刈割处理,二次收获时均处于抽穗期或抽穗后期.各品种的株高在二次刈割处理的头茬表现为早<中<晚期处理,二茬则表现为早>中>晚处理.各品种采取二次刈割处理时无倒伏现象.各品种二次刈割头茬与二茬干物质中的粗蛋白含量均较一次收获高,而平均可溶性碳水化合物、酸性洗涤纤维与中性洗涤纤维含量较一次收获低.除平均可溶性碳水化合物外,二次刈割头茬采取早、中期刈割处理的鲜干重及粗蛋白、酸性洗涤纤维的中性洗涤纤维产量主效应均显著高于二次刈割晚期及一次收获处理(P<0.05),其中中科甜3号和苏科甜1号的各产量指标较辽甜1号和YT003具有明显优势.结论江苏地区甜高粱种植中,采取二次刈割时宜选择偏早熟品种,头茬宜采取早、中期刈割方式.

     

    Abstract: ObjectiveEffects of twice mowing times on yield and quality of sweet sorghum with different varieties in order to provide a theoretical basis for selecting suitable mowing time and variety of sweet sorghum in Jiangsu sweet sor-ghum planting area where twice mowing was conducted.MethodZhongketian 3 and Suketian 1(early-maturing variety), YT003 and Liaotian 1(late-maturing variety)were used as materials.The experiment was conducted by 2-factor split-plot design.Varieties were main plot,and mowing times were split plot.The first mowing was conducted after 75 d(early), 90 d(middle)and 105 d(late)of growth,the second mowing day was after 165 d of growth.One mowing was set as con-trol. Related agronomic characters,forage yield and quality of every treatment were measured at harvest time.ResultTwice harvest of varieties Zhongketian 3 and Suketian 1(early-maturing variety)treated with early or middle mowing time of the first mowing were all at heading stage or late heading stage.Plant height of all the varieties at the first mowing de-monstrated the following features:early treatmentmiddle treatment>late treatment. All the varieties treated by twice mowing showed no lodging.For every variety,average crude protein content in dry matter of the first or second mowing of twice harvest was higher than that in one harvest,while average water soluble carbohydrate,acid detergent fiber,neutral deter-gent fiber were lower than those in one harvest.Aside from average water soluble carbohydrate,main effects of fresh and dry weight,crude protein,acid detergent fiber,and neutral detergent fiber for the first mowing of twice harvest with early and middle time treatment were significantly higher than that of twice harvest with late treatment or one harvest(P<0.05). All the yield indexes of varieties Zhonketian 3 and Suketian 1 had obvious advantage over varieties Liaotian 1 and YT003.ConclusionFor sweet sorghum planting in Jiangsu Province,when applying twice mowing,early-maturing varieties would be more suitable than others.In addition,early or middle mowing time for the first mowing should be conducted.
