Effects of morphological traits on body mass of Culter mongolicus at different ages

  • 摘要: 【目的】开展不同年龄蒙古鲌形态性状对体质量影响效果分析,为提升蒙古鲌的选育效率提供理论依据。【方法】以2龄和11龄蒙古鲌为研究对象,使用直尺、游标卡尺和电子天平测量蒙古鲌各形态性状和体质量。计算蒙古鲌各形态性状的平均值、标准差及变异系数。使用SPSS 19.0对其体质量与形态性状进行相关分析。以体质量为因变量,各形态性状为自变量,建立最优多元线性回归方程,并计算通径系数和决定系数。【结果】2个年龄组蒙古鲌体质量的变异系数均最大,11龄组为17.39%,2龄组为23.31%,除躯干长、尾长和尾柄高外,2龄蒙古鲌其余各形态性状的变异系数均大于11龄蒙古鲌。11龄蒙古鲌体高与体质量的相关系数最大,2龄蒙古鲌全长与体质量的相关系数最大。2龄蒙古鲌各形态性状对体质量的直接通径系数大小依次为全长>头长>体宽,全长对体质量的直接作用最大;11龄蒙古鲌各形态性状对体质量的直接通径系数大小依次为体高>全长>体宽>眼间距>尾鳍长,体高对体质量的直接作用最大。对2龄蒙古鲌体质量直接决定系数最大的形态性状为全长,全长、体宽和头长是影响2龄蒙古鲌体质量的主要形态性状;对11龄蒙古鲌体质量直接决定系数最大的形态性状为体高,体高、全长、体宽、眼间距和尾鳍长是影响11龄蒙古鲌体质量的主要形态性状。【结论】体质量是蒙古鲌选育的核心指标,其在不同生长阶段受形态性状的影响可能具有异速生长规律,幼鱼期以全长为主要影响因子,成鱼期则以体高为主导。全长和体宽是影响蒙古鲌体质量的共性关键性状,具有年龄稳定性。

     

    Abstract: 【Objective】This study aimed to analyze the effects of morphological traits of Culter mongolicus at diffe-rent ages on body mass, thereby providing theoretical basis for improving breeding efficiency of this species.【Method】With 2-year-old and 11-year-old Culter mongolicus individuals as research subjects, morphological traits and body mass were measured using ruler, vernier caliper, and electronic balance. The mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation for each morphological trait of Culter mongolicus were calculated, and correlation analysis between body mass and morphological traits was performed using SPSS 19.0. Taking body mass as the dependent variable and each morphological trait as the independent variable, the optimal multivariate linear regression equation was established, and path coefficients and coefficients of determination were calculated.【Result】The coefficients of variation of body mass between the two age groups were the largest, with that of the 11-year-old group being 17.39% and that of the 2-year-old group being 23.31%. Except for trunk length, tail length, and caudal peduncle depth, the coefficients of variation for all other morphological traits in the 2-year-old group were larger than those in the 11-year-old group of Culter mongolicus. The correlation coefficient between body height and body mass was the highest in the 11-year-old group, while the correlation coefficient between full length and body mass was the largest in the 2-year-old group. The order of direct path coefficients of morphological traits affecting body mass in the 2-year-old group was full length > head length >body width, with full length having the greatest direct effect. In the 11-year-old group, the order was body height > full length > body width > distance between eyes > tail fin length, with body height having the greatest direct effect. The morphological trait with the largest direct coefficient of determination on body mass in the 2-year-old group was full length, while full length, body width, and head length were the main morphological traits affecting body mass. In the 11-year-old group, the trait with the largest direct coefficient of determination was body height, while body height, full length, body width, distance between eyes, and tail fin length were the main morphological traits affecting body mass.【Conclusion】Body mass is the core indicator for Culter mongolicus breeding, whose effects on morphological traits at different growth stages show an allometric pattern: Full length is the main influencing factor during the juvenile stage, while body height dominates during the adult stage. Full length and body width are key common traits affecting body mass of Culter mongolicus ,and demonstrate age stability.
