Abstract:
【Objective】 This study aimed to analyze phenotypic traits genetic diversity of pear germplasm resources in Gansu, and screen fine germplasm resources which could provide theoretical basis for their evaluation and utilization of pear germplasm resources in Gansu. 【Method】Fifty-three Gansu pear germplasm resources preserved were used as the research objects, and 29 phenotypic traits(17 quality traits and 12 quantitative traits) were observed. Genetic variation analysis, diversity analysis, correlation analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis were used to analyze the genetic diversity of Gansu pear germplasm resources. Finally, principal component analysis and membership function method were used to comprehensively evaluate the phenotypic traits of local pear germplasm resources in Gansu. 【Result】 The genetic diversity of 53 germplasm pear resources was rich, with the genetic variation coefficient of quantity traits ranging from 4.63% to 23.94%. The coefficient of variation was the highest for one-year-old branch length(23.94%), and was the lowest for stigma number(4.63%). The Simpson index(
D) and Shannon-Wiener index(
H′) of internode length were the highest in quantity traits, with values of 0.9857 and 4.099,
D for bud color and Size of receptacle in quality traits were both the highest(0.9900), while
H′ for number of lenticel was the highest(4.204). The correlation analysis results showed that except for the bud color, petal shape and leaf tip shape, which were not correlated with other traits, there was a certain correlation between the rest traits. Among them, there were 28 pairs and 25 pairs of traits that showed extremely significant(
P<0.01) and significant(
P<0.05) correlations respectively. Principal component analysis revealed that the cumulative contribution rate of the first 5 principal components was 76.331%. Bud thickness and corolla diameter were main traits that affected phenotypic traits in pear. Comprehensive evaluation identified Wuwei Zhutoupear, Wudou Jitui, Gangu Mahuaxin pear as superior local germplasm resources. Cluster analysis showed that 53 pear germplasm resources were divided into 6 groups, and the phenotypic traits of each group were relatively consistent. Among them, groupⅠhad the largest one-year-old branch length and one-year-old branch thickness, group Ⅱ had a drooping tree posture, and group Ⅵ had purple red anthers. 【Conclusion】 Gansu pear germplasm resources are rich in phenotypic diversity, germplasm genetic relationship is not necessarily related to its origin, so the local variety resources with fine comprehensive performance can be selected for pear germplasm innovation and new variety breeding.
