Abstract:
【Objective】 To understand the genetic information of PPO and 1BL/1RS translocation related genes of wheat cultivars Ruihuamai 523 and its parents Zhengmai 9023 and Yan 1604 for the efficiency of high quality wheat breeding.【Method】 The allelic variation and origin of the wheat cultivar Ruihuamai 523 and its parent-related genes were detected using the molecular markers PPO18,PP0-B5,PPO16 and PPO29 and 1BL/1RS translocations of wheat PPO activity gene.【Result】 The PPO allele of wheat Ruihuamai 523 on chromosome 2AL was the
PPO-A1a genotype,like the parent Zhengmai 9023. It was a highly active PPO,lowactive PPO without parent Yan 1604. The PPO allele on chromosome 2BL chromosome was type A,consistent with both parents. It was a highly active PPO. The PPO allele on chromosome 2DL was the
PPO-D1b genotype,like the parent Zhengmai 9023,it was a highly active PPO,lowactive PPO without parent Yan 1604. Using the molecular marker H20 detection indicated that, Ruihuamai 523 was the same as the parent Zhengmai 9023,it was a non-1BL/1RS translocation line.【Conclusion】 The wheat cultivar Ruihuamai 523 is a non 1B/1R translocation line with high activity of PPO.Its genes associated with PPO and 1BL/1RS translocation are mainly derived from female Zhengmai 9023. It provides some references for the variety application and the cultivation of new high quality wheat varieties.
