Abstract:
ObjectiveEffects of inoculation duration,bee/aphid ratio and tobacco seedling density on bee propaga-tion efficiency and evenness of mummified aphids were studied to improve the inoculation conditions and culture even mummified aphid,which would lay a foundation for efficient collection and long-term refrigeration of mummified aphids.MethodEffects of different bee/aphid ratios(1:5,1:10,1:15 and 1:20),inoculation timing(inoculated when aphid numbers were 100,200,300,400 and 500 aphid/planter),tobacco seedling densities(15,25 and 50 tobacco seedlings/plate)on evenness of mummified aphids were investigated in glasshouse.ResultThe results showed that when inocula-ted with bee/aphid ratio of 1:10,the number of effective mummified aphid without eclosion within 15-18 d was the largest (6934.66 aphid/plate),accounting for 95.73% of the total mummified aphids.When inoculated with aphid as 300 aphid/plate,the number of effective mummified aphid within 16-19 d was the largest(16966.48 aphid/plate),reaching 97.01% of the total. When inoculated with tobacco seedlings at density of 25 tobacco seedlings/plate,the number of effective mummified aphid within 14-17 d was the largest(19837.51 aphid/plate),reaching 97.97% of the total.ConclusionIn bee propagation,when bee/aphid ratio is 1:10,aphid number 300 bee/plant and tobacco seedling density 25 seedling/plate,the mummified aphids are the most even,and the propagate bees are the largest. Under the experimental condi-tions,it can obtain over 20000.00 effective mummified aphids/plate.
