Abstract:
ObjectiveThe study were conducted to test toxicity and field control efficacy of six insecticides against Cnaph-alocrocis medinalis(Günée)and provide scientific references for the sustainable control of it.MethodUsing leaf-dipping method, the toxicity of chlorantraniliprole, spinetoram, indoxacarb, avermectins, emamectin and chlorpyrifos on the 3rdinstar larvae of C.medinalis from different geopraphic populations in Fujian(Fuzhou,Minhou and Shaxian)were tested.Field control efficacies of the six insecticides were tested with the method of praying stem and leaf at peak time of 1st-2ndinstar larvae of C.medinalis in field.ResultIndoor toxicity test showed that,in terms of the same insecticie, the results showed that the suscepti-bility degree of C.medinalis from Fuzhou population was the highest, and followed by Minhou population and Shaxian popula-tion.In terms of the 3rdinstar larvae of C.medinalis from the same population, the toxicity degrees were avermectins>spinetoram>emamectin>chlorantraniliprole>indoxacarb>chlorpyrifos.Within the experiment dosage, the six insecticides had sound control efficacy on C.medinalis in rice field. The efficacy of leaf protection were 80.02%-88.81% and insecticidal effi-cacy was 82.99%-95.38% after 14 d of treatment.ConclusionThere are no distinct resistance in C.medinalis against chloran-traniliprole,spinetoram,indoxacarb,avermectins,emamectin and chlorpyrifos in Fujian. These six insecticides can control C.medinalis effectively.
